Bookstagram: Crazy Rich Asians Movie Tie-In edition.
I enjoyed the Crazy Rich Asians movie and because of that I used some of my Cinemark Connections points to get the Movie Tie-In edition of the book (of course I’m adding it to my TBR list), I think the cover is beautiful and that’s why I’m sharing this pic.
What Movie Tie-In editions have you read lately and loved?
From Page to Screen: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott is my favorite book from all times, when I was little I read this book so many times that after some time the hard copy I owned started falling apart (now I have the Ebook in English and Spanish, and the Audiobook).
This book is again on screen (now with the wonderful Masterpierce from PBS) and I can’t wait to watch it.
Here’s the trailer:
What’s your favorite book that has made the transition from page to screen?

Movie Review: The Shape Of Water.
Storyline
From master storyteller Guillermo del Toro comes THE SHAPE OF WATER, an otherworldly fable set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1962. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Rounding out the cast are Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Doug Jones. Written by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
Review
The Shape Of Water is pure magic, poetry in motion with such an entrancing music that works as the perfect companion to the story.
Visually the movie is stunning, there’s an easy flow in the storytelling that keeps you enthralled the whole time and is full of wonderful and spellbinding moments with great acting.
An amazing work from Guillermo del Toro, a movie I can’t recommend enough and that will definitely be part of my Movie Collection.
Rating: 5 of 5.
Movie Recommendation: The Fate of the Furious.
Yesterday was Movie Night!, usually our Movie Night is on Tuesday but we couldn’t wait anymore to see the eight installment of the Fast and Furious saga.
Thanks to my husband I became a fan of The Fast and Furious Movies (we have all of them), for that reason I was extremely excited about The Fate of the Furious and after seeing the movie I wasn’t disappointed.
The movie is definitely fast paced, with good action sequences and best of all Jason Statham is back!
I strongly recommend this movie that definitely will be part of our collection.
My Rating: 9 of 10.
