Road Trip for the 10th year Anniversary of Twilight.

This year is the 10th Anniversary of Twilight and my hubby and I could finally travel to make our own Twilight Themed Road Trip including: Port Angeles, Forks and La Push in WA.

The people at the Forks Chamber of Commerce was incredible nice and helpful, we had an amazing time and will definitely be back during a Summer to visit more places (we only had 4 days for the trip including the time we spent driving).

Here is a collage including some of the pics from that trip (I’m also including one of the movie poster that was released for the 10th year Anniversary).

New additions to my personal Library and showing appreciation.

Last January when The Shape of Water was released in the Movie Theater near our home I bought tickets for my husband and I, and even when he had some reservations about the movie he ended up loving it as much as I did (he was happy Guillermo del Toro won the Oscar).

When I found out they were releasing the book (written by Guillermo del Toro and Daniel Kraus) I immediately put it on my Wish List. Today we celebrated an special occasion and my husband arrived home with a surprise for me:

Earlier today my husband sent me a message saying he was going to be a little late because of work, the truth is that he went to Barnes and Noble (even when he isn’t a fan of shopping in that store and when he goes he is “in and out” really quickly), but today he spent over an hour looking around the store, reading synopsis and reviews to choose the books he was going to give me as a gift.

I loved the books he brought me, but what I love even more is:

  • He knows me well and knows how much I love reading, so books is a great gift option for me.
  • He spent time doing something he doesn’t particularly like (shopping in a Bookstore) just to make me happy.
  • He pays attention and he remembered that I wanted The Shape of Water book.
  • He brought and extra book because, in his words “I know you love YA books”, and that’s true, is actually my favorite genre.

So, besides sharing with you the newer additions to my Library I also want to share my appreciation and love for the wonderful man that is my husband.

Food Places: Saturday at Pho All Day at Downtown Bellevue, WA.

Located in Bellevue Plaza (Downtown Bellevue) there’s one of my favorite eating places, the Pho All Day.

My husband and I are regular customers (our preferred day being Saturday) and I love that as soon as they see us enter they greet us, they know what tables we like to sit and what we usually eat (we order the same every time we visit this place). I like to eat the Pho Seafood with the Fish Nuggets, my husband likes the Pho Chicken with the Chicken Nuggets and we usually share one or two orders of the delicious Shrimp Rangoon as an appetizer.

The food at this place is good, but the main reason we keep coming back (even during warmer days when most of the people is not on the mood to eat things like Pho) is because we really appreciate the service they provide and well…. for those really hot days you can always order something else from the Menu or try one of their Bubble Teas with Tapioca 😃, I like the Coconut one but last Saturday I decided to try the Taro flavor (my new favorite) and my husband opted for Coconut (but after one taste of the Taro he liked it more).

If you are in Downtown Bellevue take a chance and visit this place, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
