The 2018 Movies based on Books I’m more excited about.

Hello everyone!

2018 will be filled with many great Movies from different genres and a lot of them are Book adaptations!!

Here are some of the Movies based on books I’m more excited about and that will be released during this year (in order of release date):

Forever My Girl (Based on Forever My Girl by Heidi McLaughlin)

Release date: January 19, 2018

I love Country music and a good romance with a leading man who is a guitar player (ahem, my husband plays the guitar) for me is a recipe for a good time.

The Death Cure by James Dashner (Based on The Death Cure – Part 3 of The Maze Runner Trilogy by James Dashner).

Release date: January 26, 2018

Now that The Death Cure is coming we are planning to watch the first two movies from this Trilogy (The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials) the week prior to the release date of the third movie. And yes, those are Jojen Reed (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) from Game of Thrones in the Movie Trailer (another reason for me to watch this movie).

Every Day by (based on Every Day by David Levithan)

Release date: February 23, 2018

Can you imagine falling in love with someone that Every Day wakes up in a different body?, a little unconventional but to me it seems like an interesting premise and also, I really liked the Movie Trailer.

Love, Simon (based on Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli)

Release date: March 16, 2018

I haven’t read the book yet and a lot of people is talking about how good it is, so I’ll definitely put it on my TBR List and hope to read it before the movie release.

Where’d You Go, Bernadette (Based on Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple

Release date: May 11, 2018 (expected)

As someone living in the Pacific Northwest I love watching movies taking place or that make reference to people and locations in this area (10 Things I Hate About You, Sleepless in Seattle). There’s not Official Movie Trailer yet but below you’ll find a great Book Trailer from Hachette Australia Books.

Crazy Rich Asians by (Based on Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan)

Release date: August 17, 2018 (expected)

There’s still not an Official Trailer but the video below with the actors taking about the movie make it look really promising and entertaining.

What are the Book adaptations you’re more excited about this year? And what are your favorites from all times?
